Red and White

We headed down to Bower Ponds where they were having a celebration for Canada Day. It turned out to be a little disappointing cause there wasnt much for the kids to do. There was some face painting, music and dance performances, a Big green Dinosaur giving out hugs, some food stands and a HUGE BIG giant cake! Sadly, we didnt stay long enough to enjoy some.
But we did get to walk around the park, play at the playground and check out some of the performances. Naveah was more than happy to get a hug from the green dinosaur. They were a little unsure about getting little maple leafs painted onto their face but loved it once it was done.
After our visit at the park we decided to go for a drive out to Pine Lake (not very exciting) but was nice that the kids slept almost the whole time! Despite the fact that it wasnt an overly thrilling day, it was stull fun. :)
