Simple Bear Necessaties...

This year for Fathers day I was lucky enough to be able to spend it with my Dad. My stepMom was giddy about her idea to surprise my Dad for the ultimate Fathers Day present and thought for SURE shed be the one to let the cat out of the bag. But all things went according to plan and Louise and I flew out to surprise him. And surprised he was! Its not often that we can all be together like that. The only thing that would have made it more perfect is if Jeremy could have been there too!

I made a teddy bear for Dad to give from the Kids. They were really sad that they werent going to be the ones to give it to him but were still excited for him to get it!!!
We called him "Papa Blus, Bear Necessaties"

Jacek Loved the airport. He spent a lot of his waiting time at this window watching be unboard the plane. He was bouncing up and down, smacking the window and yelling at them and laughing. The people walking past who saw would wave at him and smile and laugh which simply fed his excitement.

A happy boy on the plane. He did really well! He fell asleep during take off and slept the entire way. He was sure to keep the waiting passengers entertained though before we took off. Between him and Miss Jorja, everyone on that plane was puddy in their tiny hands.

SURPRISE!!!!

Papa Blu with his Bear Necessaties.

So I met this guy in Steveston who looked strangely familiar!......

Few happy moments were caught with Jacek on this trip. He was one cranky man once we were IN Vancouver. Hardly stoped crying long enough to take a breath!

Aunty weezie trying to scare some happiness back into him.....worth a shot I guess!

We took a day trip to Victoria. I saw this CUTE hat on the ferrie and was already considering buying it for the kids. I plopped it down on his head, snapped a pic and in seconds the guy who was working the gift shop came over to us, stuck his finger out and shook it and said "NO". Totally thrown off by his approach we were actually a little confused on what he was actually saying 'no' to! We soon found out that "This is unpaid merchandise and you cant take pictures of it".....more simply put...he was rude, I didnt buy the hat.

Enjoying a ride on his own little toy boat.

Too windy for pictures!
 Meeting Great Grama....

Definite Kodak moment....... "Quick Grampa! Sad FACE!!!"

Great Grama and Grampa meeting Jorja and Jacek

Youd look like this too if you were enjoying Beacon Hill Drive in ice creamy goodness!

The babies meeting Aunty Val and cousin Kenny

This is by far ONE of the strangest things ive come across walking downtown Vancouver.
Some of the damage from the riot. Most of the windows on this street were boarded up. The volunteers and some other passers by have completely covered them with words of encouragement, promise, hope and some also expressed their disgust of the entire situation. It was pretty neat to see.

Just another cute picture of Jacek

Oh, this happened a lot too. Jacek was totally trying to devour Jorja all the time. poor girl.

Giggles with Papa!
Love and snuggles with Aunty Tracey!
 ....and a few nibbles.

"Happy Fathers Day, We love you <3 the girls"
(thanx for brunch trix)

THATS more like it!!!

Got to go for a quick ride on Dads Scooter. awesome!
